About Seán
Seán grew up in some fields on the island of Anglesey, went to the city for a while and now lives in the hills.
Writing

Seán is a freelance journalist, and assistant editor of Positive News, a quarterly publication, which reports on positive changes occurring across the world. His journalism has been published internationally, with some articles translated into Cantonese and Spanish. Seán specialises in solution-based journalism, primarily relating to the environment, climate change, sustainability and community, and also writes music and book reviews.
Seán’s poetry and short stories have been published in a number of magazines and online journals. As a teenager he was runner up in the Poetry Society’s Young Poet of the Year Award and has won further prizes since, including having one of his poems displayed as a mural in a Manchester gallery. He has also read his work on local radio and performed at literature events. Seán holds a First Class Honours degree in English and Creative Writing.

Music

Seán is a songwriter, vocalist and guitarist.
He is currently writing, recording and performing solo material. Seán was a founding member of the band Earthona, in which he wrote songs, sang and played guitar.
